A single-day route through active religious and historic sites. The anchor stop is Храм Успения в Лыхны: фрески, служба и спокойный осмотр; from there the day may continue towards Dranda and Sukhum if access, road conditions and the group’s pace still allow it.
Lykhny
Lykhny is often included as a historical centre with a recognisable church, but the visit should be shaped by what is happening on arrival. Check whether a service is in progress, whether photography is allowed and whether clergy or residents are asking visitors to keep distance. An exterior visit is still a valid stop if access is limited.
Dranda
Dranda Cathedral rewards a slower look. If access permits, step inside and spend time with the architecture of Драндский собор: древняя каменная тишина рядом с Сухумом; if not, keep the visit exterior and avoid arguing over closed areas.
Kamani and Sukhum as Conditions Allow
Kamani and Sukhum belong only if time, weather and road conditions remain comfortable. The day works best when respect, water, shade and a calm return matter more than completing every stop.
