About the project

ApsnyTravel is a calm travel guide for Abkhazia and the neighboring region

ApsnyTravel is a free, trust-first, data-first travel knowledge platform for Abkhazia, Sochi, Adler, Sirius, and Krasnaya Polyana. It is not built to rush a visitor into buying something. It is built to explain the region calmly, show the available options, and help people make their own decisions.

Why ApsnyTravel exists

Travel information about the region is often scattered across maps, chats, outdated articles, schedules, personal advice, and commercial pages. It can be hard to understand what is important, what is outdated, and what is written mainly to sell.

ApsnyTravel tries to turn that fragmented picture into a clearer structure: routes, places, activities, photos, reference materials, and the relationships between them. The goal is simpler, more honest, and calmer trip planning.

The project is especially important for people who do not want to fight with complicated interfaces. A good guide should be usable not only by experienced travelers, but also by someone who struggles with modern services.

What the platform contains

ApsnyTravel is built around three simple parts:

  • Catalog — a structured map of routes, excursions, and travel scenarios. It is a discovery tool, not a pressure storefront.
  • Guide — a knowledge base of places, activities, practical details, and regional context.
  • Gallery — a visual way to feel the region through photos, mood, and real landscapes.

How the knowledge is organized

The project is built on CapsuleOS, a file-based semantic knowledge graph. It connects routes, places, activities, languages, reference materials, and related ideas.

The current project knowledge base contains 1317 geo capsules and 5 reference articles. These numbers should not be treated as marketing trophies. They show that ApsnyTravel is built around data, not advertising blocks.

Reference pages about visas, money, transport, mobile internet, medicine, and insurance should show sources and confidence levels. Official sources can be marked PASS. Traveler, commercial, or secondary sources should be treated more carefully.

Trust Principle

The project’s Trust Principle is simple: recommendations must not be manipulated for money.

A hotel, guide, operator, or partner should not be able to buy “first place” in Guide, Catalog, or Gallery.

If monetization appears later, it must be transparent and separated from editorial integrity.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell “first place” in recommendations.
  • We do not turn Guide into a hidden advertising platform.
  • We do not use artificial urgency, fake scarcity, or invented popularity.
  • We do not present traveler forums as official rules.
  • We do not replace consulates, insurers, doctors, transport operators, or border authorities.
  • We do not promise that rules, prices, schedules, tariffs, roads, or connectivity conditions will not change.

How AI fits into the project

Graph Evolution is the direction for background graph maintenance: finding stale links, checking structure, suggesting data improvements, and supporting CapsuleOS quality.

AI Concierge is planned as a future assistant that answers traveler questions using ApsnyTravel’s own knowledge base. It should be a guide through knowledge, not a salesperson.

AI must not replace sources, human responsibility, or common sense. If a fact matters for documents, money, health, insurance, or borders, travelers should check current official sources.

Languages and regional responsibility

ApsnyTravel works with Russian, English, and Abkhaz routes. Russian remains the main language of the current knowledge base, English helps international travelers, and the Abkhaz version should grow carefully and with respect for the language.

We should not publish long Abkhaz copy unless it has been human-reviewed. It is better to show a transparent interim version than to pretend that a weak translation is ready.

The region requires care. Abkhazia, Sochi, Adler, Sirius, and Krasnaya Polyana are connected geographically and through travel, but documents, entry rules, insurance, mobile service, and transport can depend on citizenship, route, and current conditions.

Why this should earn trust

  • We explain what is already knowledge and what is only planned.
  • We separate data from advertising.
  • We show sources where facts can affect a real trip.
  • We admit that some information requires regular re-checking.
  • We build the platform as a Data-First Travel Platform, where structure matters more than pressure on the user.

ApsnyTravel does not need to be the loudest travel site. It needs to be a place where a traveler can calmly understand the region and feel that they are not being pushed, misled, or sold trust.
