Up high, light, wind and perceived temperature change quickly. The valley may open for a few minutes or disappear in cloud, so a good ridge day depends on flexible pacing rather than collecting every view at once.

The Upper Section

Start from Роза Хутор: горный курорт, набережная и переменная погода and check open lifts, last descents, storm forecast and trail condition. In a clear window, choose Каменный Столб: высокий гребень над Розой Хутор or areas near Орлиные Скалы: открытый край над долиной, but only with suitable shoes, usable visibility and no need to approach edges for photos.

Avoid Overloading the Day
